Fuel mileage on Dodge 5.9 Cummins while towing

We just sold our Class C and plan on getting a fiver. In fact I picked up a clean one owner 07 Ram 2500 4x4 5.9 SRW quad cab just for that reason. Our original plan was to get a fiver in the under 10...

'06 2500 auto. 100% stock. 10k fiver.

I get 10-12mpg depending on winds and hills. I got 6mpg one day going through Texas against 40mph winds.

Not towing I get 18 day to day and up to 23mpg all hwy.
