Mine did a similar thing... the impellers got swollen and would seize up causing the pump to trip the fuse. Like Cabinetmaker, I sanded the impellers, replaced the fuse and all is well. I now keep sandpaper in my trailer tool box in case this happens again. I use vice grips to clamp the fuel line while I open up the pump. It's a ten minute (tops) job. Good luck!
