Do you need electricty either from the batt. or shore connection, to run the furnance heater? Can you run your furnance with no electricty?

And a single battery will not run it all night. In fact it will most likely drain two group 27 over night! Chris

I've had two RV heaters that didn't, one was an old-style convection furnace and the other was a catalytic heater.

I had the catalytic type in a tent trailer too and it didn't require any power. Wonder if they still do that.

The furnace requires 12volts to run. Both for the fan and control circuits.
