Goodyear G614 tire longevity experience?

We have 18,000 miles on our fiver tires since purchase. Unfortunately, we were given new 2 year old tires without knowing it in July 2014. The tire date is week 39 2012. We have previously read to replace tires at 5 years regardless of use. In your opinion, or based on your experience, how soon should we be replacing these tires. Thanks!

Personally I would figure 5 years from when I installed them, and also by tread depth and wear. Of course if they're weather checked badly I would replace them sooner.

Michelin says to start inspecting the tires when they are 5 years old and to replace them no later than 10 years old. Keep in mind this is for car and truck tires. I use their XPS Ribs on my trailer, which is a commercial grade truck tire that's also rated for trailer use.

If the tires are made in China I'd replace them immediately with an LT truck tire.

That the same age my Michelins are, and they will go next spring.
