Grand Design toyhauler

Looking at the grand design 348M. Any feed back on one of these or similar Grand design? I have an attitude on order since Oct and now they are saying Feb. Was supposed to be here now, and I am tired of the delays. I am aware this G.S. is step up, and I keep hearing good things about them. Any thoughts? Thanks
  • Never heard of an Attitude before. But just by googling, I'm guessing you're talking about the Eclipse Attitude. Correct? But comparing the companies, Grand Design is far more successful than Eclipse.

As far as the Momentum, only heard great things! Like the 60G pump station comes in handy when traveling with quads/'toys' and the dual entry is great for entertaining guests while keeping your distance from the unlikable guests. You can get up to 3 awnings expanding your horizons. Lots of features, even ones you didn't think you'd want... like a diamond plated garage so your toys don't scratch it. Like who would have thought of not scratching their garage? Not me. LOL
  • I have a Grand Design product, but it's not a toy hauler. I must say they are the most customer oriented RV manufacturer I've ever dealt with.
  • I have the 328M but I haven't taken it out yet. I like it so far. We take our first trip to Florida in March/April. I did put disc brakes on it but otherwise, it's mostly stock.
  • We've full-timed in a GD 380TH for the past 18 months and have 14,000 miles on it. We've had a few minor issues but overall we've been very happy and it is serving us well thus far. The company is very responsive to issues that arise, so you can have confidence that they'll take care of problem if you have one.
  • I have the 380TH also. So far so good. It's in the shop getting a few minor things fixed that we found when we took it out for it's madden voyage a week before Thanksgiving. The radio/DVD in the living room is being replaced because it won't play a DVD.
We are headed to the Oregon Coast right after Christmas for a week.
The bike has not gone along yet because of the weather.

Good luck with your chose. Take your time and get the right one for you.
  • Thanks for all the good responses. What kind of pricing did you manage? I am hoping for around 30 percent off msrp, thats what I have been seeing on the cyclones. Thanks again.
  • If you go through one of the volume dealers like Jeff Couch's RV Nation or RV Wholesalers, you'll get over 35% off on a special ordered unit without haggling.

By the by, if you're open to other brands, I always recommend XLR Thunderbolt. We love ours!
