I know your not worried about weight but you might look at LivinLite's VRV toyhaulers. They are shorter than the 40' so should be perfect for getting in off the beaten path, they have off road versions that give a little more ground clearance and will stand up to some of the rough roads you travel for those primo camping spots. Last but not least, you can get them customized to your liking if you want extra seating instead of beds or extra cabinets or shelfs or racks.
