I need help identifying a switch in my 1997 Fleetwood Prowler.
I was hoping to post a pic here, but I can't.... If you are
willing to help, please let me know and I can e-mail a 750kb
pic of what I'm about to describe...

Switch is located in kitchen area near the panel to check
battery and tank levels. It's a seperate "large" rocker
switch... It's labeled "ON" at the top; bottom of rocker
is blank.

Thanks,
Nick

Learn something new every day. I had no idea there was a second electric switch in the water heater compartment. Makes sense to add a switch there also. They must turn that one on when the RV comes off the assembly line because I've never had to turn one on. I'm gonna check that out today.

Only on Suburban Models that are electric & propane.
That switch can be the only one also. (no inside switch)

Atwood had a switch on cover over electric element on backside until 2004 models. After that it is on a panel inside with 'gas'
Is it time for your medication or mine?

My Komfort has one switch inside, lighted, with ON on one side and blank on the other. That's the main WH switch; the light goes out when the burner is running normally. Electric switch is outside, on the WH itself and has a lock-out pin on it. Just sayin'...

Could be RV mfg. added switch for water heater electric.

If you have an Atwood another switch for electric would be on backside of water heater tank on cover where electric element is.
If you have a Suburban another switch for electric would be in outside compartment lower left side

That is IF you have an electric/propane combo water heater.

Make sure water heater tank is full of water before turning switch ON (both switches will need to be ON for electric to heat)
