Has anyone had any experiences with Heritage Glenn fivers by Forest River? I bought a 2014 model for a good price but reading this forum I haven't heard anyone mention their thought or opinions on this line. Ours has done us pretty good for the 3 trips we have used it, but I would like to hear what others have to say.

Thanks

I have a friend that has a 2014 Heritage Glenn 346QBUD. Like all of us, he has had the normal small problems, that show up on a new RV.

He did have a major problem, with the roof membrane, not being glued down. A fellow camper driving in front of him noticed it. He had a huge balloon billowing up on his roof.

I think it is at the dealers now, as they are going to replace the roof under warranty. It is our off season, so good time to do it.

If it were me, I would have considered slicing the balloon, gluing the membrane down properly, and covering the slice with eternabond. It seems removing the entire roof, AC, vents, rain gutters, etc, could cause bigger problems in the future.

Do not worry about your roof, as I'm sure not all HGs had this problem.

That is the exact same unit that we have. The floorplan is great.

I would say that if there were major issues, then there would be some posts here singling out the brand that would be relatively easy to find with a simple search. It seems that we here about the problems, and don't hear much about rigs without issues.

I am just seeing if anyone has any tips or tricks to use or things to look out for. I know there are better units and there are worse units but I am just wanting an overall picture.

Not to pick nits, especially at Christmas, but if you have made the purchase, why ask opinions now? If you are happy, and it sounds like you are, just use the blame thing.
