Hopefully it won'the be long til we are ready to hit the road. Truck and 5th wheel have been picked out....just have to place the order.

Anyone have any words of wisdom for when we are in negotiations on the pricing of the rig?

Truck and 5th wheel picked out..........

Did your home work and truck can carry that 5vr?

Negotiating......DON'T BE EMOTIONAL
Do research (so easy now a days)on what comparable trucks and 5vrs are selling for
Make a 'fair' offer based on that research.
Make offer based on OUT THE DOOR TOTAL
The sales person is NOT your friend!!
Make sales person back up ALL claims
If it isn't 'written' in contract it doesn't exist

Walk if dealer wants to play games. They will call you back.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Are you sure they are in England? There are at least five states in the US with cities names London as well as Ontario.

If you are buying in the US as an international you have a some ducks to get in a row before you even think about buying something with wheels.

It is not like going to Walmart & picking something off the shelf & paying for it.

I never negotiated in England so I'm lost on that issue. But go over your weights and dimensions to make sure truck and 5er are good matches for each other. Understand what hitch would work best. RV salesmen here across the pond will try to convince you of anything that facilitates a sale. So know what you are buying. Salesmen here will negotiate with you on both price and equipment. Make sure the dealer will be spending significant time with you showing you comprehensively the operation of your new purchase.
