- dbblsExplorerYou are going to have to remove the awning and slide it back in. You need a buddy or two to help.
- Charley67ExplorerI couldn't get the picture to post. There is a little gutter downspout at each end that is going to have to be removed. Is that just held on by caulk, or is there a screw?

Slide out awning out of track. What has to be done to put it back?
Here's your pic......too many 'img' in brackets - YC_1NomadCheck your threads to be sure they are not rotten,. The fabric may need to be removed and resewn. There are many you tube videos to show how to do it safely. It can be a real hazard if not done carefully. Check out RVGeeks.com for their videos.
- busyguyExplorerMy friend has an Alfa See Ya M/H. The wind blew his awning out of the track. Using a flat bladed screw driver I was able to force the awning back into the track. Opened the awning part way and and got some slack on the material and just went from one end to the other. took awhile but better than taking the awning down. Just take your time and don't damage the awning with the screw driver.
Busyguy - Charley67ExplorerI'm a little Leary of poking at it with a screwdriver. I'd sure hate to tear it. It was pretty stormy a few nights ago, and I think the wind pulled it out. I can't tell that it has any kind of bead on it to make it stay in. (Thanks, Old Buscuit, for the picture help.

It's broken anyway! - minnowExplorerUse a plastic putty knife instead of the screwdriver.
- blkdodgeExplorerThere should be a 1/4" screw at each end of the track..make sure to remove those screw then pull the fabric to the point where it's still in the track. Then pull it back and either have someone hold the loose end or make sure it follows the rest of the fabric back into the track. Then reinstall the keeper screws back in and your done. Pulling the fabric out and then back in is the toughest part.
