Don't know if you have 2500 or 3500 so look it up HERE

Have you weighed your truck ...........if so you will find out that you will run out of truck GVWR, RAWR and maybe Rear Tire Load Rating LONG before reaching that mfg. magical tow number(s)

Weigh your truck....then you will have real information to base tow decisions on VS mfg. published (manipulated) figures

The "HERE" is what I was looking for. Yes I have weighed it many times. I just built a tilt wheel trailer for it to haul my quad and CHP said my design was OK if I didn't exceed the GVW of the trailer or GCW of the truck. I wanted the data to carry in my glove box.
The tilt wheel is an attachment to the trailer and not a third trailer if I am under the load limits. Whole rig is only 16,940.
    Thanks for the answers!

    I tow at between 19,500 and 20,000# GCVW, with 3.55's and a NV4500 5 speed. I have a small chip about 50 extra hp.
  • Should be in your manual. Also there should be something on your drivers door for your GVWR.

Is there an online chat for Dodge with engineers? If so if you chat with them and give them your VIN number they should be able to give you exact numbers.
