I did our alpenlite 4 years ago with the red max pro after doing a extended job to removed any wax that I applied since 2001. The front and back cap are still good but after the sides started to flake off as we hit the road for the winter one year ago I removed the red max and applied poli glo. I used the zep stripper. Not an easy job but you learn what doesn't work very quickly like cool days with no sun, do small areas and look and look in different times of the days or early evening to see the small areas that need more work.
The stripper was made for a flat surface to sit not run off.
I decided waxing sucks and happy with what I have done for a 14 year old awesome fifthwheel.
