Well as I stated I have a fold up bed cover which would need removed then there is the 2 foot of stuff setting against the front bed rail that I would have to remove. I don't want to have to remove all the stuff and leave it laying around the camp site. I'm not one of them guys that runs around the woods without chains, tow straps, shovel, axe, fluids, air compressor or floor jack. I never go anywhere without my chainsaw to boot.
So if I was to load it in the back of the pickup the rear ATV tires would barely be on the tailgate. I know they make support straps for the tailgate but I just don't see how 500+ pounds bouncing around on the rear edge of the tailgate could be good for it.
