We recently bought a NEW Iconic 1913 Toy Hauler by Eclipse. Question is for anyone who has one... have you had electrical issues? Warranty issues, problems with the brakes??

Would love to hear from anyone else who has one of these campers.

We have the Iconic 1913CB and I haven't had any issues with the brake system. Wiring is in good shape and I have almost seen all of it. I've been working on stereo, battery, inverter, and solar upgrades in the past month and I've only found one thing that doesn't belong. It looks like the previous owner wired in a kill switch for the fuel pump and used sprinkler wire. Not sure why this was necessary, but I have removed it.

I have a 2 year old 2714 Toy Hauler and have had to deal with Eclipse. I think there build quality is on par with a lesser trailer, calling there warranty department is a waste of time, and in general I will never purchase anything else made by Eclipse.

First off right from the factory the brakes were full of grease and needed to be cleaned and reworked. My front wall separated from the floor and needed to be fixed. Water tank fill line went into the trailer then turned up hill to go over other pipes so the tank wouldn't fill right. Everything is full of sawdust, metal pieces and left over screws. Extra wire hanging and zip tied under trailer, I cut 5 foot of 4 gauge wire off the genny cables to get them cleaned up. Wire and gas line access holes left open under the trailer that needed to be closed up to keep rodents out. Sewer line drain left so far back under the trailer you have to get on your knees to get under trailer and hook up the sewer hose, took an extra foot and a half of pipe to fix. Heater not secured right in cabinet.

Most important the right side floor is starting to sag but Eclipse claims its normal. I have measured a few new trailers the same as mine and have yet to find one that had any sag. Eclipse claims it's built with sag so when you load the toys it levels out much like a tractor trailer would except we're talking a 1000 pounds of toys not the payload of a tractor trailer. Even with my toys loaded I still have the sag. 2 different repair shops have tried to get them to fix it and they won't.

Anyway in short Eclipse is a piece of **** company. I hope you have good luck with your outfit and I hope you got a good one.
2015 Eclipse Iconic Toy Hauler made by Eclipse Manufacturing which is a pile of junk. If you want to know more just ask and I'll tell you about cracked frames, loose tin, walls falling off, bad holding tanks and very poor customer service.
