am interested in hearing from those that have either or both of the these features which would give the best cushioning of the trailer when towing. My trailer currently has a MorRyde leaf spring/equalizer suspension and a MorRyde pin box.

We have the Mor Ryde IS suspension and also an 25K Air Safe air hitch. They both are great and would not be without them.

I have had the MorRyde IS on 3 different fifth wheels (all over 13K) and would not have anything else. What a difference in ride and handling. Put about 25k on each trailer. Am using the MorRyde pin box on this trailer - so much better than the Trail Air pin box. If your 5er is light weight may not be much benefit to changing

If I had to choose one it would be the Morryde IS suspension which I have on a 38' Mobile Suites but I also have the AirSafe air hitch also, rides like a dream

My previous fiver had a terrible ride and within the first 6 months, I decided something needed to be done. My opinion at the time was an aftermarket pin box or hitch just isolated the driver from the problem while improving the trailer suspension would help with reliability of the trailer and driver comfort. While both improvements might be needed, it seemed like the suspension improvement was the higher priority. So I had Mor/ryde install their IS suspension. Never felt the need for anything more and kept the fiver for 7 yrs.

I have an air ride hitch that fits into a receiver. I was using it to pull my Alumilite bumper pull trailer to truck shows behind my 67 Ford N-950 semi truck. The semi truck has a harsher ride than most pick ups so to prevent damage to the trailer I opted for an air ride hitch. It does make a difference. I have am 06 Alumiscape fifth wheel that I tow with my 250 Ford but it has a conventional fifth wheel hitch. I will tow the fifth wheel with the truck pictured but for only short distances.

WITH AGE COMES WISDOM, AS WELL AS LOTS OF ACHES AND PAIN.

I have Trailair pin box and Centerpoint on my 5er. I added shocks as well. Seems to ride just fine. I don't know how it rode before because I had the dealer install them.

I cannot think anything can be better than Air on the hitch or pin. Good combination to have both front as the rear as you have.
