Info on replacing black and grey water slide vavles

Soooo,,, since we live in our 5th wheel during the winter.. in North Dakota (yup, it is possible!), AND it has been a very cold winter, we are now having problems with our drains. We have our water and sewer lines all hard-lined, and insulated. Just a week ago, they acted strange when dumping.. Big gurgle, burp, the nothing. SOME drained, not sure all did. Now,,, nothing.. no noise, no draining. We have run a propane heater under our trailer (it is all enclosed) for 4-6 hours, wondering if it was frozen at all. SO<<< WOndering how do we get at the drain valves? We know they are long,, go all the way across the floor of the trailer. We have a 2000 Travel Supreme, 37 foot.

It sounds as if the roof vent maybe clogged (ice/snow?) in some way.

If you are running the propane heater under the trailer when the belly is still covered guess what? The propane heater is doing next to nothing but warming the coroplastic skin of the underbelly.

Valves are frozen/waste water is frozen at the valves.

I'm guessing you did not heat the valves/tanks/waste tubes electrically?

If you've been relying on the furnace to get heat into the under belly you're going to have to spend some time with it running to get some heat down there.

Even if the remote dump valve cables are bust you're still going to have to get down into the area and open it up to get to them.

Buy the OP's description it sounds like they have cable operated drain valves. Again from the description it sounds like the OP might have a poo pile. In other words they did not use enough water in the black tank or attempted to drain it before it was full. If they have enclosed underbelly then he needs to remove the plastic panels and insulation to access the valves. Then it should be a pretty simple 4 bolt pattern to separate the valve and slide the blade out for replacement. But, before I went to all that trouble, I would fill the black tank with water and after letting it sit for a while open the valve and see h=if it drains.

I'm not sure I understand. Drain valves are typically located in a wet bay or at the edge of the rv that is easily accessible and are a small device with a handle to pull. I surmise you are talking about some thing else entirely.

Maybe a little more detail would be in order.
