Intro's

So this is a re-introduction of sorts. I havent been on this forum in years, and was mainly over on the TT & Towing boards. Well, we just put a deposit down on a 2014 XLR Hyperlite 27HFS so I will probably be visiting here more. We are moving up from a 1999 Dutchmen 300BH and cant wait to be able to take our motorcycles on camping trips, not just touring with them.
We havent scheduled delivery yet but when we do, I will be srue to post pics.
So looking forward to this new chapter in our adventures.:B

    The walk around bed is something we are giving up, we discussed it a lot, hoping we can get used to it. We looked at the 29HFS but it's just beyond the weight rating of my truck. Close, but too close for comfort.

    Yea, age has it's perks. The 27ft XLR was one of our picks ( haven't bought yet ) but we just couldn't get past the bed having no walk around room. Mostly the wife didn't want to be up against the wall.
    Now looking at the 31FSQL

    OK. About the above. I made a new profile when I couldn't recall my password and it was under an old email address that is no longer valid. So I couldn't reset it. So I started a new profile then it dawned on me what my new password was so I went back the original. Lol. Getting old sucks.

    Hey Mike. Good to hear. We didn't order it, we found a 2014 leftover down at Stolzfus in West Chester. We're gonna pick it up next week so we are hoping for a quick arrival of spring... Hahaha.
    Didn't realize there was a dark side to rv.net but that's fine with me, I tend to go against the grain. Lol.

    Oops was logged in under the new profile when I couldn't remember my password from my old one. Sorry guys.

    Congrats on the new addition. I am right up the road from you, near Limeport. Have a 2012 XLR Thunderbolt 35x12. Take my 1100 V Star along all of the time now. It's awesome to get out of state and be able to ride around. What dealer did you order it through? Been real easy to deal with Forest River, my only complaint is they kepp coming out with really sweet new floor plans and I want one!! 380 AMP is on the radar!!!!

    We sure have enjoyed being able to haul the bike with us versus spending 2-3 k miles in the saddle on a trip. Enjoy!!!
