Invitation: Needles, CA on May 2-4, 2014

We thought about a stay there... but they charge $10 per ATV or boat... per day... And we have two atvs... They did say they might reduce the charge slightly to one ATV.. but even $70 extra for a week was too much.

Was on my boat this last weekend. Good weather. Water was up. The peninsula's were packed with campers. I think only one was empty. Cinco de Mayo starts my boating season. Have fun. I'll honk the horn as I cruise by.

We can get individual spots. Each grouping is a number and the four individual spots in the grouping are lettered. I have never been there but one of our group members is a regular there. It's about 2500 miles round trip for us to make this gathering.

The following weekend, we will be at Moses Lake, WA at a similar campground that is lakefront but OHV's have to be trailered to the riding area. If anyone is interested in details about the ML dunes, ask away.

For get the ATVs... I'm bringing my boat, dang that looks nice. How about water rights, will there be much by summer?

We usually stay there for a week at the end of the summer. The peninsula camp spots can't be beat. Your own private beach and good camp spots. Hope you get some to join you. I know owner's have changed, so do they still make you reserve all the spots on each loop or can you get individuals?
