Is it possible to put a B&W head on a Reese Slider?

My 16K Reese hitch head is damaged. One of the jaws moves a lot. A repair shop said it isn't safe to use and a repair will be $300. Because of the cost I decided to buy a new head. I'm hearing that B&W may be better than Reese and iI'm not totally happy with Reese. Has anyone put a B&W head on a Reese slider and did it work well?

    Buy a new B&W, and you will not regret. I use to use Reese and can't believe the difference by going to B&W.

    Shop for a new one on the internet for the best prices. Nothing lasts forever. Maybe it's just time.

    I don't think just the B&W head would interchange with the Reese.

    A B&W Patriot (non slider) will fit the Reese standard bed rails.
