You must have the hitch that uses slip plate. About every 2 years I would pull the head off, and then pull bolts that hold the big tubes in the frame. As I carefully pulled the tubes out of frame that would release the large heavy part that slides on the tubes. Can't remember the name of that part. Anyway I would use sandpaper and work it down to as smooth as I could get it. Then apply slip plate. I would put on about 3 coats. This put hitch in almost like new condition. Keeping hitch clean helps a lot. I bought one of their covers. This is not a video, but its that simple. Bought a long bed DRW, and really glad to just have a simple B&W.
