Jack Stabilizers

I finally found time to install my JT's Strongarm Jack Stabilizers today. The install went very well and the instructions were very concise.

One thing that I did not do as instructed; I decided to not be a traveling billboard and I turned the labels toward the inside.
  • Buy some lithium spray and give the joints a good squirt on occasion. The parts rust rather quickly including the TEE handles. With that said I think they help with the movement.
  • I got a set used at the swapmeet and I like them very much just have to remember to loosen them up before moving legs up or down. never did mount the ones in the rear yet or ever will.
  • They made a big difference on our trailer. And you didn't need to worry about the labels, they will get blasted off anyway.
  • Like the idea of stopping the movement but one question:
Do you have to get down on your knees to tighten them?
Knees are not what they used to be.
  • hand tight is all that is needed and not hard hand tight. You could figure a way to do the job with a long something. Some guys have but I forgot how.

  • I use a length of pipe with another short piece welded onto the end at an angle. Works fine.

No kneeling, just bend down and release the T handle.
  • Yes great up grade but don't forget to undo. wasn't pretty and sound kind of made me sick. Never again lol
