My Designer is rated for 4 season. I have lived in it full time for almost 4 years and never a cold related problem. When below freezing is forecast I unhook my external water hose and just live off the the internal fresh water tank. No worries about the hose or my pressure regulator freezing. This past winter it was down to 9 degrees a couple of mornings and in the teens all during the next day. Nothing froze, not even me.
I was in central Alabama during the winter and I do have an external 150 gallon propane tank that I use during the winter on my home base site so I did use the furnace during the time below freezing.
