- P_E_KempExplorerWe ordered a 09 Jayco Eagle 313RKS and since it has had many + and -'s. We have gone through 3 slide motors for the big slide. Jayco did help us even when the warranty was up 50-50 deal. Ours is a rear kitchen and we are on our 3rd Norcold fridge door and the last time there was nothing stored on the door shelves. We travel 6-8 months a year all seasons and polar package is lip service, when the furnace is on it's warm when it shuts down you're chilly. It's probably a decent vacation and camping rig but long term travel no way.
- FlapperExplorerStarting the second season with ours. To date, the only issue was the outside shower handle dribbled.....from initial walk through to almost 5000 miles on it, nothing else wrong. Other brands may have had nicer floor plans, more slides, etc. but in the end, this being our first 5'er, the 2 year warranty was what sold us on it. And it's beginning to look like we won't have to make any claims on it.....

Mine is 10 yrs old having bought it used 6 yrs ago. Haven't had any problems with it. Still solid. Just the usual regular maintenance. Will look at Jayco again when its time to move on.
Ditto.
2006 Designer. Bought new.
Never any problems.
Never needed the 2 year warranty.
Previously had TTs, MHs, slide in camper.
Would buy another Jayco (if I was looking)..;)

Are Jayco considered a "4-season" trailer? Are the walls & ceiling well-insulated, and are the tanks insulated as well? Would you use a Jayco for fulltiming?
It depends on the model. The Pinnacle line is considered 4 season.
Our Eagle has what Jayco calls the "Polar Package" and is rated to be livable to 0 deg F.Been camping when it was 17 and no problems. - Sonora108ExplorerWhen we were looking for a new 5th Wheel it came down to Jayco or our current 5ver. It was a hard decision but ended up with our Artic Fox. I am not saying one is better than the other it was just that I was swayed by the old addage, if she isn't happy ---- you know the rest.
- edatlantaExplorerMy Designer is rated for 4 season. I have lived in it full time for almost 4 years and never a cold related problem. When below freezing is forecast I unhook my external water hose and just live off the the internal fresh water tank. No worries about the hose or my pressure regulator freezing. This past winter it was down to 9 degrees a couple of mornings and in the teens all during the next day. Nothing froze, not even me.
I was in central Alabama during the winter and I do have an external 150 gallon propane tank that I use during the winter on my home base site so I did use the furnace during the time below freezing. - SkiSmuggsExplorer

We have taken several long trips winter and summer. In fact, we were in CO and UT over Christmas and New Years this year, had lowest temps in UT at 8 below zero. We have never had an issue. Ours was bought 4 season prepped. We do take normal precautions like heated water hose, no "traps" in the drain hose, etc.

Construction details
We tend to follow the weather...South in the winter and North in the summer.
Our Pinnacle works great in all climates. - roamermattExplorerAre Jayco considered a "4-season" trailer? Are the walls & ceiling well-insulated, and are the tanks insulated as well? Would you use a Jayco for fulltiming?
