In my ongoing, everyday, obsessive compulsive search for our next toy hauler, I have learned quite a bit. Of course, I've been looking at the most popular brands out there and all their floorplans within a 200 miles radius: Fuzion, Raptor, Carbon, Impact, XLR, Vengeance, Elevation, Altitude, Work & Play, etc., etc., etc.

But we have a dealer maybe 20 miles from the house that carries Jayco Seismics. They have a 4112 and if its the same one I've been seeing, they've had it for quite awhile.

Just like this dealer and the others I've seen online, they are really proud of these things versus the other brands. I can find all kinds of models from the brands I listed earlier priced anywhere from $45,000-$75,000. But not with the Seismics. Virtually every dealer I've seen has their prices starting with a 9.

Is this because they are not showing a discount price like the other brands, not offering a discount price like the other brands, or are Jayco Seismics just that much more expensive?

Just went through the pics. Very nice rig. Love the dishwasher. Love the built in ladder for the loft. Did notice the main slide was Schwintek. What do they have against hydraulics?!?! I understand cost but on something this fancy... Overall, very nice though...

The new ones will be even better. Mike Aplin left Heartland to run the show there and is a great and innovative guy. They are still playing catch up though getting things up to date compared to the competition. I can't believe they are still running the electric Level Up system for example.

. and from what I can tell from the pictures, E rated tires. For this much money, I'm struggling to see the extra expense for the value. Of course, it could be in the build quality but that's still a lot of money for what I'm seeing versus the more "popular" brands.

This is the one I'm referring to:

My guess is they sort of fall in the price range like a Grand Design. Your link shows them all around $75,000 at maybe 25%-28% off MSRP.

I know Jayco is really good quality. But dang!
