Left Texas Friday. ( at a good time ) to head home to Florida. Was there 7 months for work. Once again my schwintek slide system failed me. Did the over ride thing an got it in. Got to the house to call my closest service dealer ( st Augustine ). There first question once I got them on the phone was did u buy it here. The answer was no. Then he put me on hold an then told me the earliest was jun 26th before they were doing warranty work. So I call trade winds in Ocala they told me to bring it on the 31st with no questions asked.

This is pretty typical dealer "schtick". There is something called the Priority RV Network. If you buy from a dealer that's a member and you're on the road and need emergency service another participating dealer will put you at the "front of the line". Unfortunately its a pretty small network right now.

Good to know about the slide. Our X20E has a Schwintek slide. Never had a slide before so I'm hoping for no troubles.

Since I replaced the main power connections on our Schwintek Slide controllers and lubed the track rollers, we have setup and moved about 8 times from Georgia to South Carolina to Texas and back to Florida and had no issues at all.
Both of the Schwintek slides has never worked better.

Can't blame them for taking care of their customers first. It may not be the right thing to do but that is what they choose to do.

This isn't Jayco service, it is individual dealer business practices.
