Keystone Montana Mountaineer

What's the difference between a Keystone Montana and a Keystone Montana Mountaineer? The Mountaineer specs are not indicated on keystonerv.com
  • Lower line. Thr Mountaineer as I have been told is a step down with cheaper furnishings.
  • They dropped the Moutaineer line a few years back and now it is the "non Legacy Pkg" Montana But back when they were called the Moutaineer there were a few differences like Not having STANDARD 6 point auto level,Moryde pin Box,LRE4000 Suspension, no rear cap , No solid cherry wood or Hickory cabinets and frames ,inferior brand TV's/DVD and Microwaves/Convections Etc... although a buyer could Add some of those as options
  • I have a 2014 Mountaineer. It is pretty much the same as the older Montanas (which I used to have). Mine has a 10 inch I beam frame, which is what Montana used to have. They went to 12 inch so they frame can hold up with the MUCH longer styles they now have. Used to be, the longest was about 38-39 feet. Now that is the shortest (or close).
