I a newbie at using meters. If you are talking an OHM meter then I need to disconnect all power right? Also, I a look at the back of the switch, there are six tabs and 8 wires. Two wires on the one side (top and bottom) each have another wire attached to them. There is a red wire that says load and a pink wire opposite it (both of these are on the middle tabs--one on left, one on right. Diagrams I have seen say pink is ground.
If I don't have to disconnect power, what settings do I use on my meter so I won't do any damage to anything?
