Leak in SLIDE OUT

What is the best way to find a leak in my Slide Out? Getting dampness/water in corner but cant find anything! Slide is level.
  • Pressure up the inside with a leaf blower in the roof vent then soap and water sprayed on the area will bubble. RV shop leak test was about $250

Mine leaked from the horizontal strip above the slide close to the roof. Was wetting the main floor next to the slide.
  • Like what alboy said, very common issue. The first thing I would check is along the top of the strip moulding that runs horizontally along the lower edge / end walls of the slide. Water runs down over this strip and acts as a drop edge. If there is one pin hole or void in the caulk along the top of this strip, the water will penetrate and soak the sub floor and carpet in that area. It happened to me once on a brand new rig. It was easy to fix and I was thankful to catch it before water damaged the sub floor decking.
  • Water will run down the outside edge and wick along the lower edge that may not be caulked properly, happens a lot.
