I'm curious... I've got a Ram with the Puck System and the Demco Hijacker slider and have never taken it out of the bed in the year and a half I've had it (never had a reason to so far), so I'm wonder...

I only take our B&W Companion hitch out when I need a clean bed to haul something. That happens every couple years, so it will stay in the truck for at least a couple years at a time. Of course the truck usually has a complete cover on it when not in use.
