- DuckExplorerI have noticed over the past year that the number of Lippert frame problems are very limited on trailers manufactured within the past two years. Maybe they finally got their act together.

The FACT is Lippert builds what the RV Mfg wants, in general that is "Light and Cheap" so most of the frame problems arise from that requirement!
Bottom line YA get what YA pay for!
Couldn't agree more!!! There's a fine line between affordable and durable with cost being the driving force. Your money, your decision.

Bottom line is, it's still a Lippert frame.
So? Fact is the vast majority of RV's on the road use Lippert frames. Sure they'll have more complaints due to sheer volume but the vast majority of owners have no issues at all. I've seen several people with problems on Arctic Fox RV frames and they're supposedly one of the best. Seems complaints with Lippert have gone down in recent years as Lippert did go thru certifying its welders. I've owned 4 RV's all with Lippert frames over a 30 year span and zero problems. - transamz9Explorer

Is that why you bought the cheapest of the big three trucks? why not buy the more expensive truck if you get what you pay for?
I did buy the most expensive truck with all the bells and whistles!
Around here Rams are cheaper the Ford and Gm
RAM is the only one of the three that I consider a "TRUCK" :B
So in other words, you get what you pay for except when buying trucks.........:h - Cummins12V98Explorer III
