My brother lives in VA and bought a new 26BH TT from Holmanns in MI last year. Price was about 2500 less. The drive to pick up the trailer cost him 700. Was a no brainer for him.
The only concern would be local dealer cooperation with warranty work if you didn't buy from them.
Fortunately he hasn't needed any warranty work.
