Looking at a Sandpiper, any thoughts on the product line?
We are looking at going from a diesel pusher back to a 5th wheel. We haven't be able to get out as much as we would like and it sure don't do the CAT Diesel any good not being worked often. Another part of the equation is wanting to introduce our grand children to the joys of RVing.
So what we are looking for is a 5th wheel that would meet a two fold use. One being a comfortable and roomy floorplan for the wife and I when we are out together. The wife wants a useable kitchen, non micro bathroom that has good A/C and heat in the restroom. As well as something that will hold up for years.
Two, would be a kid friendly interior. We know that with growning kids there will be extra wear, nicks, scratches, and such that will happen.
Plus I don't want to spend a fortune.
We are looking at a Sandpiper 355RE. It offers good floorspace, a bathroom slide, good basement storage, dual a/c and a kitchen plan that should be workable. But, I am not to familiar with the Sandpiper quality or reliability.
