My wife and I were also looking at the 3750FL. Like you we love the front living floor plan. However, I think we've decided on the Montana Mountaineer 375flf. (Haven't bought it yet) It's the exact same floor plan as the 3750FL, but it's lighter and only has one door. One other feature that we found out about is that if the sides are closed on the 3750FL, you can't get to the bathroom except through the second door, and you can't get to the bedroom. So if you're pulled into that Walmart for the night and can't open the slides, you can't use the bed. Plus the frig in the 375flf is in the slidout which actually gives you more room in the dining room/kitchen area. Just my opinion though.
Edit: Oops, I thought the 3850 was a typo. I didn't realize that Montana had out a new 3850FL. Disregard above. Sorry
We own the Montana 3750. Bought it for couple reasons. First the second door to bathroom. We have dogs and that's a big deal. The 3750 Montana's fridge is not in the slide. At rest stops and truck stops the bathroom and kitchen are fully accessible with no slide to move. If we spend the night we have the option of just opening the two bedroom slides. There are switches to turn off the dining room slide. Front LR slides are independent! Btw you can squeeze to bath from front door. I am 270lbs and do it all the time. We have camped using front living room as bedroom. There is room to get to bath and bathroom. I have see the model with fridge on the slide, it does prohibit access to bath. Good luck!
