Looking to buy used toy hauler

Well I'm looking into buying a toy hauler to haul around my side by side. I'm wanting a open floor plan that will accommodate a side by side up too 13 foot. I found a 2004 gearbox 300 fqs that seems to be perfect for what I want. I'm hesitant due to finding a few complaints on delamination of the 04 gearbox fleetwood model. After reading I found it appears that the problem was with the campers coming out of California. Can anyone give advice on what I should look for, and or should I stay away from it. The one in question I believe was built in Maryland. Here is the vin tag. [img][/img]

    No point in calling Fleetwood, they went bankrupt. The new Fleetwood has disowned all trailer owners, they only sell Motorhomes. So you are 100% on your own with it.

    58 hrs on generator. I'm going to call fleetwood and see if its ever had any recall/warranty work done.

    That is the one year & make that was the poster child for delamination. But if it hasn't delaminated yet, it probably won't. After ten years, all of the manufacturing issues should have surfaced and been resolved, one would think.

    However, I saw a trailer like mine on Craigslist recently and they said they only used it four times since they've owned it. I'm willing to bet they didn't know about the recall and haven't dealt with the frame construction issues. So you never know.

    How many hours are on the generator? That will give you a feel for how much they used it and whether they would have seen any build issues arise.
