Lots of questions...

Just purchased new 2015 Open Range Roamer 346FLR. Dealer lost the manual and is send me a new one in a week, however we are on day 17 of a 32 day road trip and the camper swap was in the middle of the trip so to say the least I missed a few things in the walk around "how to" from the tech.

I am looking to see in anyone out there has a digital manual? and or what you can tell me from this units experienced owners?

Thank you and happy camping!!!
  • Just because it has a toggle does not mean it has two tanks....the manufacturer uses a stock board that covers many different trailers. Mine has the same thing but only one black tank....we only have one toilet.

Don't know about the DVD...never tried ours but I guess you would need some long cords...My DVD player, if I remember correctly had has those three wires going to the television directly. Maybe someone else will know.
  • Anyone know what happen to Open Range Owners site? Keep getting access denied when i go there like the page is gone.
  • I have a main bath and a half bath. Each has it's own black tank. I have the switch you described. I also have two gray tanks, one for kitchen and half bath and the other for the main bath. You should have four handles to open the drain tanks.
  • Thanks for all the info everyone. The links will be a great starting point. Some questions I have are why does the unit have a Black 1 and Black 2 toggle? Is there more than one black and or grey tanks? Is or can the outside tv be hooked to the DVD unit mounted inside? What options do i have to utilize the back up camera prep? More tom come i am sure.
  • Almost every piece of equipment has its own manual. The manual for the camper covers just the raw basics. For example you would be better off going to the mfg. of your stove, look up model and get the manual.
  • Is there a particular question that you have in mind?

Like how to adjust the refrigerator temp, to avoid freezing the lettuce or make it colder?

Why is the black tank reading full - but it is actually empty? (that is a popular question).

Where is that darn water pump switch?

Let us know, and someone will be ready to help you out!

Have fun camping with the new RV!

    Fred.
