Low waterpressure

Glad to hear this works for you! I like the way your winterizing system works. It sure would be handy, as mine is a pita, having to crawl halfway into basement, remove trap door cover on wall, reach through small space to deal with winterizing hose.

I have also been in some CGs with very low water pressure, and water I didn't care to put in my tank. This is why I always travel with known good water in my fresh tank. Yes, the pump pressure is set, but at times can be much more than a poor CG supply/pump can produce, and more constant pressure during CG high use times.

I have, in fact tried this before, and it does work. Gives me a chance to take a shower at least. The well water pressure here varies around 40# +- 10#. Not the greatest when on the low side. The pump does run, so the pressure either is not high enough to turn the pump off or is not flowing through the pump on its own. I think that some RO water filter systems use an extra pump that works in a similar manner to provide minimum pressure for the filter to work properly.

On-board pump has a preset discharge pressure capability.

Not going to increase anything...pump will have same discharge pressure.

Maybe he does not want that slow murky well/campgound water in his tank.:W

Great idea George!! But wait, if your pump is sucking the water out of the hose, faster than the water coming in, would you not get air in the line, or suck everyones water away, that are downstream of you? :):):)

How about simply filling your water tank and at those times turn the water pump on to draw water from the tank as a suppliment. Many people do that.

I can't think of a reason why not. Give it a go and give us a report what happened.
