Luxury toy hauler?

Well, they are 47" and on swivels....if you can't see them that way, maybe bi-focals are in order....

So at home do you watch TV setting straight in front of it or off to the side where you have to twist your body to view it?????? Our current trailer has two recliners that look straight at the TV. My next rig is going to have two theater seating type reclines that look straight at the TV. The Escalade that I linked is the first TH that has turned my crank. I have send regular Escalade 5th wheels of that vintage and they look very nice!

OldBird1965, I think I know what you mean: most of the toy haulers one sees are not necessarily decked out with the maximum luxury options. But, frankly, I prefer that but those are the very options which tend to be high margin items. I bought a toy hauler NOT for hauling toys (because I don't have any) but because I suddenly realized that virtually every furniture/structure item in my Thor Tahoe could be removed so that I could have maximum open floor space. As a result, I feel like I have a 38' house and not just an RV. Indeed, I preferred not having all of my non-bedroom/non-bathroom living space taken up by kitchen. And the toy room is like having a nice 10x8 separate room in the back (with its own door into the living room and its own entry door---as well as its own drop down cargo ramp which also converts to its own "porch" complete with screening and gazebo!)

Of course, I don't know exactly what you mean by luxury items. If you mean lots of slide-outs, I realize that some toy haulers go with fewer. (I decided I was OK with that because of superior noise and thermal insulation properties because I lived full-time in mine and don't travel in it. It truly is my house, yet has no property taxes on it.)

Of course, if you buy new, you can customize for anything you want. But for what you save on a used luxury model, you can easily afford the $3/mile transport few you might have to pay on the great deal you find in another state online. I used that strategy and got exactly what I wanted and only paid an extra $400 on top of complimentary delivery (which I think had a mileage limit of something like 100 miles.)

I do wish you well in your search. If you take your time, you might be surprised at what you eventually find listed online which is worth your making a visit to check it out. (And don't forget Youtube as a source of basic research in touring various possible models, even if those specific RVs are no longer for sale.)

I stumbled across this tow hauler! It is the first one I thought met most of what I was looking for. Outside looks nice and inside is something to work with. This one has the King bed. Needs some modern TV and a big tow vehicle! Guess that 2014 Dodge 3500 would be a duallie! It would look nice in a snowbird park. Chris

Here is one owners blog. In this one the rear loft has cabinet doors and is just storage! Will have to try and contact the owner and see if he did that.

Toy haulers seemed to be geared more to the younger crowd and for use as vacation or weekend accommodations. Minimally appointed as far as interior creature comforts might be a more accurate description, since I'd wager most are used as I suggest rather than a full timing RV. Seems many I've seen in campgrounds are holding everything from kayaks and bicycles to Harleys and ATV's or golf carts, which suggests the owners' are living life more outside than inside.

In a custom build such as New Horizon or Spacecraft you can have anything you want as long as your pockets are deep enough.

When I went through the Excel plant they were building a new 5er for Brian (CEO) of Excel. They were trying out new things on his trailer. They take pride in their product.
