Maxxis st tires
Are the maxis st tires any better than the rest. I have 230/80/16 tires now and I don't think I can go to the 235/85/16 due to clearance I have blown power King and marathons I am trying to find a goo...

I will agree on Maxxis for those with 15" rim. There are better choices for 16" rims that will last 6-8 years. Maxxis are not cheap and changing every 3-4 years is expensive.

On 5200lb axels with no extra clearance? If I remember you suggested g rated Sailuns would beat up my trailer. So are you saying now they are ok for 8400lbs on the axels? Just trying to understand what the other options are. I considered Sailuns but 110 psi seemed high for the load and running under pressure is not somewhere I want to go...thus the maxxis appear the best option. On a heavier trailer with 7000lb axel sailun no question.
