I am using an Andersen Ultimate hitch and reversed the adapter to shorten the swing radius of the pinbox which keeps the pinbox inside my bed rather than over the bed rails in tight turns. I still have to be very careful in tight turns to watch for the front of the trailer touching the back glass of the truck. If your hitch is a sliding type, it won't be a problem. The MORryde rubber pinbox can be used with any type hitch and I wouldn't tow without one. It's even offered as an option with Jayco 5th wheels. I installed mine last week.
