mini fridge in washer dryer closet

We have a Bighorn 5th wheel. We are taking our mini fridge and thinking about putting it in the washer dryer closet in the bedroom for the drive down. Leaving Jan 14. Thought it might work better than the propane in cold weather. Any problem with venting it? The doors are louvered. Is it noisy? It would only be running when we camp. Should stay cold enough during the day.

If the fridge is already cold it will stay cold for the 4 to 5 hour drive. I done this with our travel trailer in the summer a few times without a problem.

Hooking up an inverter, run power wires directly from the battery using the shortest run possible. I like using a inverter because we often drive 12 hours plus. Our last drive home took 17 hours though I not sure why it took so long.

There are many threads on installing an inverter in this forum, including the one where they explain what I was doing wrong. ??

Great idea. We don't care for a washer/dryer in a RV (just us) turning that area into a place for a frigid is perfect for us. Most (not all) RV washer/dryer spaces are up front in the RV near where the rig's batteries are kept. So running an inverter to the frigid for power would easy to set up.

How do you keep it running on your Travels, I would think it must be plugged in at least every 4 hours

We keep ours in the storage compartment with o problems

We had one in our Montana 3400RL W/D Closet for years. No noise, no ventilation issues.

Leave ours in the storage bay. No problem with venting. You have to put your ear up to it to hear it run. Your good to go as far as I'm concerned
