Modifying myTH for more livability

I'm starting some mods to make this beast more livable for my family when we hit the road. As mods are in work or done I'll post them up.

First up is modifying the cabinet to fit a larger TV, which will happen this week.

I hear what you are saying about creature mods. Here's one I did that might be worth thinking about. I took the 19" TV out of the cubby hole it was in and put my media equipment in that space. Then I mounted and wired in a new Boston 5 speaker system with floor mounted sub woofer. For the new 37" Plasma TV I built a wall over the door between the kitchen cabinets and shower. The only thing I have left to do is build a v-shaped spacer for the TV mount to give it just a few more degrees of angle. As it is I prefer to sit at the dinette to watch, although my wife prefers the couch in front of the TV. Not only do we have a great TV now, we can really crank up the stereo when we're in the mood.

BTW the trailer has been over the Alcan 3 times since installing these modifications with out any problems. The trailers got more than 20K miles since this mod.
