MOR/ryde Pin Box

I bought a new MOR/ryde pin box for my 5r. last winter. Bought the one suggested for my weight of trailer. Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a lot of rebound from the rubber cushion. It moves like it's suppose to but it's like a spring with no shock absorber. It's almost worse then the rigid pin box.??? Anyone have this experience? Any suggestion on how to stop this rebound action.

    Could the shock be bad?
    I have one and it works great.
    If the shock is bad, then I can see where you would get some bounce.

    OOPs, got my systems mixed up. I was thinking of the Trailair.

    Mine works very well. They are not designed to stop the bounce, vertical movement. It greatly reduces the shock of forward and back movement.

    Call Mor-Ryde and discuss it with them. They have different rubber inserts you can install.

    I have contacted MORryde and they have offered to replace the rubber cushion. I hope that cures the problem.

    I've had two and they do what they are suppose to do. It is so much different then what its like with out it.

    HAd a couple of Mor/Ryde pin boxes and they worked fine and cut down on the chucking motion.

    Now we have a Trailer Saver air ride hitch, a Demco Glide pin box and tri-axle Mor/Ryde IS suspension. The truck also has air springs to take some of the laod off the overload springs and cut back on the harshness in the truck.

    I'm very pleased with my MOR/ryde. Sounds like you need to go up one step in rubber durometer. Great pin boxes.
