MOR/ryde Pin Box

I bought a new MOR/ryde pin box for my 5r. last winter. Bought the one suggested for my weight of trailer. Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a lot of rebound from the rubber cushion. It moves like it's suppose to but it's like a spring with no shock absorber. It's almost worse then the rigid pin box.??? Anyone have this experience? Any suggestion on how to stop this rebound action.
  • Could the shock be bad?
I have one and it works great.
If the shock is bad, then I can see where you would get some bounce.

OOPs, got my systems mixed up. I was thinking of the Trailair.
  • Mine works very well. They are not designed to stop the bounce, vertical movement. It greatly reduces the shock of forward and back movement.
  • Call Mor-Ryde and discuss it with them. They have different rubber inserts you can install.

    B.O.
  • I have contacted MORryde and they have offered to replace the rubber cushion. I hope that cures the problem.
  • I've had two and they do what they are suppose to do. It is so much different then what its like with out it.
  • HAd a couple of Mor/Ryde pin boxes and they worked fine and cut down on the chucking motion.

Now we have a Trailer Saver air ride hitch, a Demco Glide pin box and tri-axle Mor/Ryde IS suspension. The truck also has air springs to take some of the laod off the overload springs and cut back on the harshness in the truck.
  • I'm very pleased with my MOR/ryde. Sounds like you need to go up one step in rubber durometer. Great pin boxes.
