- Mile_HighExploreryou can't class the Mountaineer to the High Country - the High Country is built as a lite and is an orange compared to the other apples. Compare the High Country to the other Keystone lites like Cougaar XLite, etc.

We own a 32' 2013 Montana High Country and love it. It's the low end of the Montana product line but a step above the Mountaineer line.
Not according to my dealer. He really talked me into the Mountaineer over the High Country. I have a one ton dually and weight wasn't as much of a concern. He said the High Country units are a good option for somebody who needs a lighter weight trailer. But they aren't built as solid (hence the lighter weight, six lug axles, etc). I'm sure they are still fine units though. - busmanRGExplorerWe've been told that the High Country line is moving from the Montana to the Cougar.

We have a 38' Montana High Country and have been severely disappointed in the workmanship. The dealer had to re-caulk all of the interior cabinet door panels because they fell out. The cable slides needed several adjustments, just a lot of little aggravating things.
What year build?
2012 Model Year - goducks10ExplorerI bet the price won't drop. Too many other brands including MH's that are 100"W. I really doubt it has anything to do with traveling down the road. Arctic Fox for example makes them 100"W and has been for years. Cost cutting IMO. Need to keep the price point so cutting back on material costs which undoubtedly have rising is easier. The only way to keep the price competitive.
- richfaaExplorerI believe wide body is 101 inches. It dos not seem like much but the difference is noticeable. IMO it was done to be competitive with the other like brands that have the wide body.
