I don't have a problem with the death penalty in this case. Snakes wouldn't hesitate to kill me and eat me if they could.
XXX22 I have a big fear of snakes, had a dog bit in the face 10 years ago by a rattle snake. I was on a hunting trip took over three hours to get to a vet that had ANTI VENNOM. It was horrible what that dog went through (A softball size boil on her face, neck so swallon I didn't think she would make it to the vet) Two viles of anti vennom $500 each at that time. I'm 6'3" 250lbs and I would scream like a girl two.

I've heard that as well, that once bitten, a dog hates snakes and will try to kill them. I've seen a Lab kill a water moccasin. He kept circling it until he saw his opportunity. Lab bit him behind the head. I have a bayou/swamp behind the house and usually kill 3-4 moccasins a year. None yet. Both my sons dogs have been bit. No vet visits. Swelled up and got over it.
