Need my fiver moved

Our 2011 Crossroads Cruiser is currently parked a a family lake house in Limerick, ME but we have decided to move it to Clearwater Campground in Meredith, NH, approximately 60 miles. Would anyone in the southern NH / ME area be willing to assist, for a fee of course? The 5er is a 315RE model with about a 2000lb pin weight/10k overall.
If anyone knows someone that does this for a living that would be helpful as well. Thanks,John in Merrimack, NH
  • I would gladly do it for you but I think the fuel cost from MN.would
    be i bit high:B

I would visit a couple of close-by campgrounds and look at their bulletin boards. If nothing there just look at capable trucks in the campers yards and ask. Lot’s of times you can find someone that will move your trailer for the cost of fuel alone.

Whit’s End CG at West Ossipee, NH is owned and operated by my cousin Jan and her husband Dan.
  • Contact any RV manufacturer, such as Crossroads and try and get a contact number for there delivery people. I'm sure if they are delivering new units to your current location they would most likely take your unit for a fee, and they know what they are doinhg.
  • Did you try Craigs list? I live in RI and would do it if I lived closer, so I am sure there is someone out there near Meredith that could move it.
  • Go to the new CG as mentioned, or if you gathered any friends at the old place. You might also check out a local RV dealership.
  • Go to your new campground and ask at the office, willing to bet the owner/manager or a current guest would be willing to help out a new neighbor.
