I have a 2010 Open Range 5th wheel and ordered the Morryde Wet bolt upgrade kit. What will be the ramifications of using the 3.125 inch shackles instead of the 2.25 inch? Or should I send the 3.125 inch back? Thanks for any feedback.

I was afraid of that! My new truck is taller, so I only have 4 inches of rail clearance and is a bit nose high as it is!

Suggest making sure each wet bolt will accept grease before installing.

When I did my wet bolts I found half of the wet bolts had not been completely drilled and could not be greased.

The wetbolt kit will come with the wetbolts pre-pressed into the shackles in the kit. I think you will end up with fitment or clearance problems using something different than what was on it to begin with?

The ramifications of using the 3.125" shackles is that your 5th Wheel will be 7/8" higher. Now if you question is regarding the "attributes" of the shackles, I don't think anyone but the designer of the shackles could answer that question.
