The 5540992 @ $130.99 has a 129 load rating - (4079 #)
Both are 14 PR and L (75MPH) speed rating
5540992 has a sidewall spec of TL and the other does not have sidewall rating listed
Anyone know what the sidewall spec means?
For me - I would pop for the $130 per tire.
That explains the two different listings and price. different tires, and weight rating with the ST being the higher rating, and cheaper price.
Could the ST be the the new tire in the 235/85R-16 from Sailun, and they are phasing out the LT, I find no listing for LT.
Friends S637 Sailun tires bought last spring from Simple Tire are a LT235/85-16 on the sidewall .
