Hello All , been lurking here for some time and now I have all my pieces in place! Got my new to me 2005 F350 dually and my 2008 KZ Montego Bay trailer... First issue just happened today , I unhooked and realized that the pins were not all the way in the landing gear holes so I hooked back up and secured them. At that time I went to lower the legs and nothing!! The motor winds but nothing moves??? I went through all my paperwork 3 times but cannot find any paperwork on who the maker is, or a diagram.... Any help will be great !

X2 on the shear pin(s). Remove the head of the jack on the motor side. The shear pin is on the motor shaft inside.
Semi-"retarred" in 2006. ๐Ÿ™‚ 2008 Newmar Cypress 5th wheel, 2008 Dodge diesel dually to pull it with.

Thanks to all who answered so far , to clarify-- I did in fact manually un hitch the fiver... Just looking to fix the issue now. I did try and trace all moving parts to find the weak link but there are none... Just the inside of the motor spins and nothing else.... After doing some searches here last night , I'm thinking maybe a worm gear ? Just cannot figure out the mfg???? The tags on the motor do not state the maker , just china.....

Just going off your information it sounds like a sheer pin sacrificed itself. Find the motor and follow along till you find where the culprit is.

I've never had to manually extend or retract the front legs on my 5ver, but I believe there is a manual method. I googled this question and came up with the clicky below. Scroll down and you will find some info about manual operation. Hope this helps.

Tried that... Place marks on the tubes as my limits before using so I know that did not happen..

I don't know, but you may have simply exceeded the travel distance of the landing gear. Try retracting the legs and then move the pins to a different hole.
