Noisy A/C unit

Question

Our old unit quit working last year and we replaced with new Dometic one thinking a new one would be quieter. It is as loud as old one so is there anything I can do to cut down the noise. It is a ducted unit and that helps but still can't hear TV without turning it up.

After doing some research,I installed an Atwood. Much quieter than either a Dometic or Coleman's that I have experienced.

My new Atwood Air Command unit is considerable quieter than my old Dometic unit or my sons three year old Coleman air conditioner.  Barney
