There's "no harm" - but folks on an internet forum are offering opinions, and are *not* "the powers that be".
Next time you get stopped by a cop for an infraction in (whatever state), tell him a guy from one of the other 49 said (on an internet forum) it's OK where he lives- - so it *MUST* be OK there also..:S
However, "Nutinelse2do' covered it very well.
Opinion:
Register it in your home state (your legal residence), store it in AZ for at least 181 days per year.
You are *not* living (residing) in it when it's in storage.

Ask the AZ DMV.
